Skills for Business English provides the flexibility of material that is demanded in today's complex and fast-moving business world. Topics, functions and skills are organised in a unique way, allowing teachers and students to plan a route through the material to suit their own particular needs. All four language skills are covered in each unit, but each unit is divided into 3 separate sections – typically Listening, Reading and Writing, Speaking. Each section is presented in a 'ready-to-use' lesson format.

The Teacher’s Guide for each level provides comprehensive usage notes for teachers, an answer key for all exercises, extension activities for each unit, a full transcript of the CDs, plus an example of the relevant BEC exam paper.
